Though it definitely seems a bit over the top, environmentalism and conservation, like any cause, has its fanatics. Is it fair to laugh at them? No, but viral videos like this that have been viewed millions of times worldwide are one one of the reasons why environmentalism is seen as a radical, unrealistic, and even silly instead of the legitimate concern that it is.
