The Lone Ranger and Tonto decide to go camping in the desert.

The Lone Ranger and Tonto decide to go camping in the desert. After they get their tent all set up, both men fall sound asleep.

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Friend, look towards the sky, what do you see?"

The Lone Ranger replies, "I see millions of stars."

"And what does that tell you?" asks Tonto.

The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute, then says, "Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning. Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow."

And then, turning to Tonto with a self-satisfied and smug look, he asks "What does the sky tell you, Tonto?"

Tonto is silent for a moment, then says, "Being able to see the stars tells me someone has stolen our tent."

Moral of the Story: Don't go digging for great meaning and depth when the most important learning is staring you in the face.
