Carol Metzker is a frequent speaker/educator, writer, humanitarian and activist. Writing assignments took her to India in 2004, where she met children rescued from slavery. The encounter led to her work to help end human trafficking, aid survivors, and to pen "Facing the Monster." She has a master's degree in organizational learning from George Mason University and has more than fifteen years' experience in communications and corporate environments. Carol is the recipient of Rotary International's highest honor, the Service Above Self Award.
