Jennifer A. Naughton is director of credentialing for ASTD’s Certification Institute. She developed the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credentialing program after managing the ASTD Competency Study initiative. She has 15 years of human resource consulting expertise that includes testing, designing training, and human resource strategy. Before she came to ASTD, she was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and a research scientist for the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO). Naughton holds a master’s degree in human resource development from George Washington University and is a recognized Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR).
