Ray J. Rivera is the director of the WLP Scorecard at ASTD. He has a master’s degree in instructional design and technology from the University of Iowa and is completing his PhD at Stanford University. His dissertation research focuses on using intangible asset valuation methods to determine and measure the effects of learning on performance. He is co-author of ASTD’s 2005 and 2006 State of the Industry Report, along with numerous other articles and reports covering areas such as business impact measurement, the strategic value of learning, learning function globalization, and challenges of a maturing workforce.
