Institute for the Future is a non-profit organization that has been around for almost 50 years in the Silicon Valley area. It is a "think tank"​ that provides "foresight to insight to action"​ strategies for organizations and corporations as well as yearly releasing a 10 year forecast with a specific theme. She works under the supervision of one of the greatest future forecasters, Bob Johansen, a Berrett-Koehler author.
