How to Get Liquor on a Plane for Cheap

Getting a drink on a plane is not only a pain, but can cost you more than what it costs to get a cocktail at the fanciest place in town. But there is a way around this.

You can take as many mini bottles through TSA as will fit in a quart sized plastic bag, so put as many in there as you can. They are like $1.50 at the liquor store, compared to $7 on the plane (or even save the empty bottles and refill them at home for even cheaper).

When it comes time for drinks, ask the flight attendant for a whole can of whatever you can mix your alcohol with and a cup of ice (just make sure to mix the liquor in your drink when the flight attendant isn't looking). Then, put the empty minis back into your bag and not the seat pocket. Much, much cheaper buzz.
